Terms and Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
1. Identity of the entrepreneur
Verashop, located at Industrieweg 12, 5683 CX Best, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce number: 12345678. VAT number: NL123456789B01. Email: info@verashop.nl. Phone: +31 85 060 8424. These terms and conditions apply to orders placed through Verashop.nl and to related quotations, deliveries and services.
2. Applicability and definitions
These terms apply to every offer, order and agreement between Verashop and a consumer or business customer, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Made-to-measure products are products manufactured or assembled according to your specifications, such as veranda kits, glass sliding walls, profiles, roof sheets and glass parts in the selected size, color, version or configuration. Standard products are accessories and individual parts that have not been specially adapted for you.
3. The offer
All prices on our website are in euros and include VAT, unless stated otherwise. Delivery, installation or additional work costs are shown before the order is completed or stated in the quotation. Images, colors, visualizations and configurator views are indicative; small color and size differences may occur. You are responsible for correctly entering and checking dimensions, color choices, glass type, rail type, installation method, delivery address and accessibility of the location. Measuring instructions and permit checks on the website are tools and do not replace professional assessment or final verification by a municipality or specialist. Verashop is not bound by obvious mistakes, typos or pricing errors that you could reasonably understand to be incorrect.
4. The agreement
The agreement is concluded once you accept the offer, complete the order and Verashop confirms the order by email. For made-to-measure products, Verashop will only start purchasing, production or processing after the order, dimensions and payment have been sufficiently confirmed. Verashop may refuse an order or request additional information when details are incomplete, dimensions appear technically unfeasible, payment is not received or delivery is not reasonably possible. Changes after confirmation are only possible as long as production or purchasing has not yet started and may cause additional costs or delay.
5. Delivery, transport and inspection on receipt
Delivery times are indicative unless a fixed delivery date has been expressly agreed. Large products such as glass, aluminium profiles, roof sheets and complete kits are delivered to an accessible place at the roadside or to a previously agreed unloading point. You must ensure that someone is present to receive the delivery and that the location is accessible for the carrier. Check packaging and visible damage immediately on receipt and report transport damage or missing parts as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours, with photos and order number. Risk passes once the products have been delivered to you or on your behalf, without prejudice to your statutory rights in case of non-conformity.
6. Right of withdrawal
For standard products that have not been specially adapted for you, consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period after receipt, as described in our return policy. The right of withdrawal does not apply to made-to-measure products manufactured or assembled according to your specifications, including custom veranda kits, custom glass sliding walls, cut-to-size profiles, roof sheets, glass parts and specially ordered colors or versions. This exception follows from article 6:230p section f under 1° of the Dutch Civil Code. Please therefore check all dimensions and choices carefully before ordering.
7. Installation, use and maintenance
Our verandas and glass sliding walls are intended for installation according to the supplied instructions and for normal private or business use as a patio cover, garden room or glass enclosure. Self-installation is carried out at your own responsibility. You must provide a suitable, level and load-bearing surface, correct anchoring, safe tools and compliance with local building and safety regulations. Damage caused by incorrect measuring, incorrect installation, insufficient foundation, modifications by third parties, overdue maintenance, storm, frost, settlement, improper use or overload is not covered by warranty. Clean aluminium and glass with suitable non-abrasive products and periodically check fixings, rails, rubbers and water drainage.
8. Payment and retention of title
Payment is made through the payment methods offered on the website or in accordance with the payment arrangements in the quotation. For made-to-measure products, large orders or installation, Verashop may request a deposit or full advance payment. Production, stock reservation and delivery may be suspended as long as payment has not been received. All delivered products remain the property of Verashop until the full invoice amount, including any delivery, installation and collection costs, has been paid.
9. Warranty, complaints and liability
Verashop warrants that products comply with the agreement, the stated specifications and the reasonable requirements you may expect from them. Manufacturer or structural warranty does not affect your statutory rights. Complaints about defects must be reported as soon as possible after discovering the defect, with order number, photos and a clear description. We will then look for repair, replacement, subsequent delivery or an appropriate solution. To the extent permitted by law, Verashop is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, business loss, loss of value or damage caused by incorrect installation, incorrect dimensions, improper use or circumstances beyond our control. We do not limit statutory rights of consumers.
10. Complaints procedure, applicable law and disputes
If you have a complaint, please contact us at info@verashop.nl with your order number and a clear description. We will respond as soon as possible and no later than within 14 days with a substantive response or with a timeframe within which you can expect a response. Dutch law applies to these terms and all agreements. Disputes will be submitted to the competent Dutch court, unless mandatory consumer law designates another competent court.
